Dr.
Rob Kassan is a family physician in a large group practice
in Santa
Monica, California. He began to treat patients with
medical acupuncture in
to his outpatient practice in 1998, and now has fully
embraced and integrated acupuncture into his busy primary
care office.
A graduate of UC Irvine, California College of Medicine
in 1988, Dr. Kassan
received residency training and was a Chief Resident
in Family Practice at
Santa Monica Hospital, a UCLA affiliate program. |
Dr.
Kassan is a founding partner of the Santa Monica Bay Physicians,
a multispecialty medical group. As the Chairman of the Utilization
Management committee for Bay Community Medical Group, Dr.
Kassan provides administrative services for this large IPA,
as well as providing acupuncture treatments in a managed care
environment. Dr. Kassan is an HMI clinical preceptor, and
is active in acupuncture education.
An
avid cyclist, Dr. Kassan rides up to 150 miles per week, plays
tennis, and enjoys traveling. He is happily married and the
proud father of two young boys.
