Warren
M. Morganstein received his D.D.S. degree from the University
of Maryland, a Certificate from the General Practice Residency
Program at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in
San Francisco, California and his M.P.H. degree from Johns
Hopkins University. He joined the faculty of the University
of Maryland Dental School as the Director of the Dental
Auxiliary Utilization and Training in Expanded Auxiliary
Management programs in 1971. In 1974 he was appointed
as Chairman of the Department of Oral Health Care Delivery
(formerly Community Dentistry) and in 1976 was appointed
to the position of Senior Associate Dean of the Dental
School, a position he held until 2005. |
Dr.
Morganstein has published extensively and has made numerous
presentations, nationally and internationally. He has maintained
a high level of activity as a consultant to organizations
including the United States Public Health Service, the World
Health Organization and the American Dental Association. Additionally,
he was a member of the House of Delegates of the Maryland
State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
He has served as President of the Baltimore City Dental Society
and Trustee to the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Morganstein received his training in acupuncture from
the HMI Medical Acupuncture for Physicians program and from
the Tai Sophia Institute of the Healing Arts. He currently
serves as a clinical faculty preceptor in the HMI program.
He conducts a private acupuncture practice in Baltimore, Maryland
and is a member of the part-time faculty and Director of the
Enrichment Program and Dean's Faculty at the University of
Maryland Dental School.
